The advantages of using Baclofen are related to its ability to reduce pain flexor cramps and spontaneous muscle contractions, which improves patient mobility and reduces dependence on other people's help, improves rehabilitation.

Dosage and administration
The dose is chosen individually, determining the minimum effective dose, which does not cause adverse reactions. Thus, when you buy generic Baclofen, you must consult a specialist who will prescribe you the dosage.
The medicine is taken with meals to avoid negative effects from the digestive tract.
Caution is needed when raising the dosage especially to persons over 65. If you use a high starting dose or raise the dosage promptly, then adverse effects may occur.
If, after applying the highest advised dosages for six weeks of therapy, the effect is not achieved, the question of the extension/termination of treatment should be decided.
The difference in treatment should always be carried out gradually, lowering the dose over a period of half of a month, except for emergency conditions associated with an overdose or the occurrence of serious negative effects.
Adults:
- The course should begin with a dosage of 15 mg a day split into several equal doses. Every three days the dosage can be raised by half of the tablet per intake if the medication is well tolerated. The dosage increase is made until the lowest effective dosage is found.
In most individuals, the optimal effect is observed at the use of the daily dosage of 30 mg -75 mg.
The course duration depends on the clinical condition of an individual. The course is ceased by the gradual reduction of the daily dosage.
The medication in the form of oral pills should not be prescribed to children with a bodyweight of less than 33 kg. For the dosages for children, consult a pediatrician.
Dosage adjustments
- In kidney failure, as well as for individuals on dialysis, the dosage should be reduced to 5 mg per day. For individuals with end-stage kidney failure, baclofen can be appointed if the expected benefit exceeds the risk.

Special recommendations
-During treatment, Baclofen exacerbates psychotic syndromes, convulsive conditions, dizziness and symptoms of Parkinson's disease, so if patients are prone to such conditions, they must be under constant medical supervision.
-Patients with epilepsy who require concomitant Baclofen therapy require constant clinical monitoring and EEG, since there is a decrease in the effectiveness of anticonvulsants used and changes in the EEG picture.
- The Lioresal should be cautiously used with antihypertensive drugs (interactions are possible).
- Neurological symptoms of an overdose, including confusion, drowsiness, and depression, were observed in individuals with an impaired kidney function who received oral 5 mg baclofen per day. Individuals with kidney failure should be closely supervised to quickly diagnose early symptoms of toxicity.
- You should be especially careful when you order Baclofen for using it with other substances that affect kidney function.
- During sudden drug withdrawal (long period of treatment increases the chance), anxiety and confusion, hallucinations, psychotic reactions, manic, paranoid and convulsive states, and other negative symptoms may occur, spastic conditions may also increase, so the dose should be lowered gradually over half of a month.
- You should be especially careful when treating elderly patients as negative effects are likely to develop in this group of patients. The ability to influence the reaction rate when driving vehicles or other mechanisms.
When you order generic Baclofen, you should know that it may cause dizziness, sleepiness, and vision impairment (see Adverse Reactions Section), which may decrease concentration and attention.
